Originally I started The Mommy Bunch as a local resource for my community.  I wanted to provide a way for local moms to get in touch with each other, as well as look for parenting information.  Since I live in such a small town, this has proven to be more difficult than I anticipated to get people involved and on board with the idea.  There a few who follow the blog, but it isn’t really enough to continue solely with that purpose.  With that, I have decided to change the direction and purpose of The Mommy Bunch to the following:

Blog Posts:  Mostly blogging about my life and things that happen, sometimes funny, sometimes serious and advice related, and sometimes just random ramblings of my thoughts, coherent or not. 

Reviews:  I love to do reviews!  I love trying new products, and I love letting my readers know what is or isn’t good.  If I can provide advice on a product that saves you from a bad purchase, or helps you decide to make a wise purchase, I think that is really awesome!

Giveaways:  In addition to reviews, I love doing giveaways whenever possible.  I hope to continue to do as many as I can so I can offer my readers the chance to try some of the same products I review and/or other awesome prizes!

Blogger Opportunities:  Occasionally I partner with other bloggers and opportunities may arise to take on additional partners, or give other bloggers opportunities to take part.  These posts will always be filed under the category: “blogger opportunities“

Food:  This is something that I won’t blog about as much as other things, but occasionally I get the chef bug and will make something that really just screams, “post me, post me!”

Local Events:  I will still have a page on the blog dedicated to my local community, highlighting local events, moms group information, and the opportunity to attend free product sampling events.  You will find this under the My Neck of The Woods Tab.

While I will most likely not post much regarding parenting resources strictly on the local level, I will still blog about MY parenting experiences, and occasionally offer advice, based on my own thoughts and experiences.  However, if you are interested in parenting resources, my facebook page is primarily dedicated to parenting topics, advice, discussions, and information.  Please feel free to join our facebook page and join in on any of our daily parenting discussions.
