What is a blog hop?

A blog hop is a linky list that is SHARED ON MULTIPLE BLOGS. When several blogs put the same linky list code on their blog, the exact same list appears on each blog.

Blog visitors can submit their entries on any blog that contains the list. The entries will appear on each blog where the list resides.

Blog readers see the same list on each blog, and can “HOP” from blog to blog seeing the same list of links to follow,

What are the rules of the Hop?

  • You must include part or all of this post, you can adjust it to suit your blog but you must leave in the backlinks for Powered by Mom & Mommy & Baby Reviews & the blog hop rules.
  • ADD a giveaway link (must be a direct giveaway link please not to home pages etc..)

Supporting Small Businesses – May Business of the Month! (You get to win stuff too!)

I’m sure you have all seen something similar to this circulating around the web at some point.  I have seen several versions of this same thing.  This really hits home with me because I run a work from home business, several of my friends run work from home businesses, and I truly believe that we need to return to an era of community and helping one another succeed!

Who does it benefit when we are just helping the billionaires get richer?  Buying from a mom and pop shop, or from a mom/dad run business does several things; it helps a family, helps a community, and in the end, really helps you!  You will feel great for helping out someone who is just trying to make a better life, trying to put their kids through school, or give their family a roof over their head instead of just helping to fatten the wallet of those who have already “made it.”

This is why I have decided to feature a business of the month, every month here on my blog.  This business has not paid any fee to be featured, they may have donated a prize for you to win (which they pay for out of their own pocket), but I wanted to be able to help those who are working hard to bring a better quality of life to their family.

This month’s featured business will be AtHome America.  Yes, this is my own personal business, but since I am just starting out this feature I have to start somewhere.  I will post a feature article showcasing the company, as well as a prize package to be won.  (Post to come at a later date)
