C is for Cereal – Y is for Yummy!

The Mommy Bunch disclaimer

Post has come out with a new line of cereal that has made my 3-year old daughter Macey very happy! C is for Cereal combines her favorite sesame street characters such as Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster, with a nutritious and tasty whole grain cereal.

C is for Cereal

The cereal comes in three different flavors: Elmo’s A is for Apple, Cookie Monster’s B is for Banana, and Big Bird’s S is for Strawberry. Each is packed with 2/3 of a toddler’s daily whole grains, is low in sugar and contains no artificial flavors.

Macey says Y is for Yummy!

I was interested to see how my daughter would like the cereal since she has gotten used to eating cereal with higher sugar content. She really loved these! The cereal isn’t just for breakfast, as Macey requests it in a bowl without milk for her afternoon snack. The shape and size of the cereal makes it great for little fingers to grab, making it a great option for toddlers. Plus, what toddler can resist Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster? Having their favorite character on the box makes it more exciting! It makes me feel good knowing there are no artificial flavors and that it’s low in sugar.

Here is Macey’s description of her Elmo cereal!

So tell us….

What is your child’s favorite cereal to eat for breakfast or snack time?  Do you look for healthy options like Post C is for Cereal?

Kids are always looking at the backs of the boxes. I'm surprised it took so long for someone to come up with a Sesame Street alphabet cereal. What fun! Love your daughter! Reply
