Celebrating Baby’s Firsts!

There is nothing more joyful or rewarding that those precious first-time moments you experience with your child. The first time they crawl, the first steps, that first tooth (as painstaking as it may be), and so many more!

My youngest has already experienced so many firsts in her short one year of life, but this last weekend we got to experience another first – her first haircut!

Baby’s Firsts!

I knew it was time to take her in for a formal haircut when we just couldn’t manage the wild hair anymore. It kept getting into her eyes, but she wouldn’t let us put anything in her hair to hold it back.

My beautiful baby girl went in with some wild and crazy locks…

Baby's First Haircut

…and came out with the cutest little haircut with bangs so that the hair didn’t keep falling in her face. Isn’t she adorable?!!

What a little beauty you have! – I so remember my baby boy’s first haircut – all blond curls and big blue eyes – and he was a little afraid but did great – Wish I had a video – but do have the photos –

What an amazing giveaway! Babies firsts are definitely special. My little guy will be 3 soon and I can’t believe how fast he grew. Kind of sad that he’s our last and there will be no more firsts.

  42. Alysia from My Domestic Dish February 13, 2015 at 2:09 am #

Oh my gosh, isn’t she the cutest. Eugh, I love the first haircuts. It’s so sad at the same time too! They grow so quickly, don’t they? I’ve got four and I’m always shocked by how time seems to speed up more and more with each one.
I love the first steps and the first pee on the potty. Their look of jubilation and how proud they are is just too cute.

When my kids were little they had wild hair too, my one son looked like a girl because he had such long and curly hair. When they were little though, I only ever used pampers, they just work the best.
