If you live in a cold climate finding fun things to do with your kids can be a bit of a task at times.  The weather is not always ideal to go outside, or it is just too pricey to head to someplace like an indoor amusement park. Chuck E. Cheese’s has always been my one of my favorite places to take the kids and we had the opportunity to enjoy some time there once again this year. I mean seriously, where can you go for $0.25 a game? Plus Chuck E. Cheese’s is not just for kids, all of the adults I know that have ventured to Chuck E. Cheese’s with us have just as much fun, if not more fun than the kids do!

We had the privilege of going to Chuck E. Cheese’s with our children, ages 3, 7, and 8. Some of our favorite things to do are the skee ball type games. We all picked out our favorites and had a blast trying to win tickets! My youngest also loves using the games that take your picture (and I have to admit…I kinda do too). 🙂

After a bit of fun, we sat down to eat our pizza and each grabbed one of our cups to peel the tab and see what goodies we may have won. We all won 5 extra tickets. It might not seem like a lot but 5 tickets is a lot to little kids. Even I was excited.

At the end of the day the kids all wanted t-shirts from there. Did you know they can take the price of your tickets off the cost of the item and you pay the difference? Well I definitely did not. The tickets earned through the games and on the cups saved me a little bit of cash that I could use to put into our vacation fund.

Looking for family fun?

It’s time for you and your family to head into your local Chuck E. Cheese’s to play the new “Let the Good Times Rip!” in-store game. You could win a $5,000 Disney® Cruise Line Vacation, XBox One™ Console, Razor Crazy Cart™, PlayStation® 4 Console, Chuck E. Cheese’s gift cards, board games, tickets and more.

I don’t know the name of it, but it is a game with lights that run in a circle and you try to get the light to stop between two colored bars. It has always been my favorite. My second favorite is Smokin’ Token. 🙂
