Get Ready for Halloween with great Strawberry Shortcake costumes and more from Costume Discounters!

 The Mommy Bunch disclaimer

If you are a bit Type-A like me then you like being prepared for everything…including holidays. Halloween is one of my favorite times of year and having everything we need ahead of time is always on my agenda. Costumes are of course a big must have item. Since I am not crafty at all (well, maybe a little but I really lack time or desire), I look online for the best costumes and deals.

Recently, I was introduced to the site Costume Discounters and had my daughter pick out a costume she liked. She chose this really cute Strawberry Shortcake costume!

As you can see, she was delighted to get this costume and try it on. We are close to being all ready for Halloween, now just to figure out decorations!

Find your own great costumes!

If you are looking for a great costume without the work of shopping around to store after store, I suggest checking out Costume Discounters. They have great prices, and discount codes available, like 20% off costumes $20+ with code FUN20.

The quality of the costume seems pretty good as well. The material isn’t super thick high quality, but it does the job and should last long after Halloween for when the kids want to play dress-up. The only thing I always recommend when buying costumes online is to buy a size larger than you think you need. I have noticed that no matter what costume I get, they run small.

So tell us….

What is your favorite holiday?  Do you have your kids costumes all planned out or do you wing it?

Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I love Halloween as well. My girls have an unbelievable amount of Halloween costumes in their dress up stuff, so I let them pick whatever they want for each Halloween activity we attend, so they usually end up as several different things each year, lol.

I always plan out my family costumes… until this year. I’m still not sure what I’m going to dress the kids up as. But this strawberry shortcake sure is adorable!

Very cute strawberry shortcake! This is the first year that my kids haven’t decided yet. I’m starting to panic just a bit because I typically end up having to make something… Better get them started deciding soon!

I am extremely type A, in fact, I’m almost done shopping for my kids birthdays and holidays at the end of the year! We enjoy Halloween and we usually go all out. My 3 year old gets some help from mama with her costume ideas, but my 11 year old gets to decide for herself!

There are tons of options, lol. What does your two year old like? Maybe make him/her a pumpkin or their favorite cartoon character.
