If you have a WiFi device like a laptop, tablet, or other mobile device, you know it is essential to have WiFi available when you need it! I have been using a Motorola Xyboard for the past four months, and I couldn’t imagine not being able to connect when I needed to. Luckily for me, my Xyboard also runs on Verizon’s lighting fast 4G LTE service so I have never been without a connection. Luckily for my husband, the Xyboard also has a mobile hotspot feature; so that means his tablet (which only has wifi) can also be connected anywhere we go!
Why is the mobile hotspot great for our family?
We have had the experience of traveling in our vehicle on long trips with two small children. Anyone with kids knows that after about the first 20 minutes they need something to keep them occupied or they are just going to go bonkers! Since my tablet connects to Verizon’s 4G LTE service, my kids are able to use the tablet to play a variety of games, stream videos, and more. And since my Xyboard also has the mobile hotspot feature, we can connect my husband’s tablet so both kids get to do what they want to do, without having to share!
Not only is the mobile hotspot great for the kids, but it is great for us adults too! When my husband and I were traveling out of town, the hotel we stayed at had terrible WiFi service. We were lucky to get a connection at all, let alone be able to function once online. Instead of suffering through a very slow connection speed, I simply switched our laptop over to using the mobile hotspot from my Xyboard and BAM– lighting fast Internet connection!
Do you want your own mobile hotspot so you are never without a connection again!?

i would like to win this
When I am sitting in the car waiting to pick up my daughter from school.
My husband and I often meet with clients at local restaurants. The only reliable Wi-Fi we have found is at a truck stop. Other places advertise free Wi-Fi but it never works reliably. I’d love to have our own hot spot!
When I was taking online classes I was also traveling a lot. There were many times I needed to log into class and had to pull over at a McDonalds and pay to use their wifi. This would have saved me a lot of time and some money.
Single mom of 3 would love to have internet @ home
When the hospital internet went down and we were trying to up load pictures of our brand new baby.
We would use it for camping and traveling.
I wish I had it whenever we go out to dinner and have to wait for our food. I have a 5 year old who gets antsy and it would help because I could let him watch Netflix on my Kindle Fire.
There have been several times out on the job site when I could have used wifi on my TouchPad to access field forms for use while working. Having the JetPack would solve that issue.
Many, many times! Most frustrating though when meeting someone for a meeting at a restaurant and finding out Wifi isn’t available there!
when my husband goes to his RC racetrack and they have really bad signal with att so i wish i had wifi for my tablet!!!
At the park where my kids like to play would be super nice to have wifi and give me something to “play” with myself!
I brought my car in for an oil change and ended up being at the dealer/shop for 3 hours and really really needed wifi to get some work done, but there was none available.. AAhh!
One time I wished that I had wi-fi was on our way to a camp in a neighboring state! I didn’t have anything to do and was quite bored. haha
I wish I had wi-fi when I take my mom for her infusion appointments, they take 2-3 hours (sometimes longer if she’s seeing the doctor or has to stay longer after for some reason). I have also wished I had it when I’ve been out at the soccer field all day.
I wish I had wifi during our trips to maine because I don’t get any service up there or sometimes at school when the wifi there cuts out.
I wish I had it to use when waiting at doctor’s offices.
My boyfriend lost his air card a few months ago so he depends on my mobile for his data connection when we travel.
I would use it with our Kindle Fire so the kids could watch a show when we go on trips
We were at a hotel and for some reason their wifi wasn’t working. We had a major emergency and had to go find a coffee shop!
Wish I had it to use when going on a trip for my children so they could use there I pod.
would be great when we are traveling and my grandson can play his games!
This would be great for the weekends when we are frequently away from home without Internet access.
i would love to use this for when we go on our roadtrips to see family!
It’s faster than my current internet (my dad has it) so I would LOVE to have one.
I’d use it for my Kindle Fire when I’m away from home!
My daughter went with me to get my hair done, and she brought our ipad thinking she could do her research while she waited, but wifi wasn’t there
I wish we had Wifi sooner then when we finally got it, it’s so much easier.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I wanted wifi real bad when we vacationed in Gatlinburg TV. but we didn’t have it and I tried using the iphone which doesn’t quite do the job as being online for me.
i wish i had it on our vacation last year to colorado,i really could have used it
I would use the mobile hotspot while traveling.
I honestly have just gotten into all of the high tech wireless stuff… I know, I am WAY behind. Not sure how I would use it all yet! LOL
I would use this with our laptops when we visit family, they don’t have internet!
I have a kindle fire and I’ve wanted to use it in many places and didn’t have wifi… the worst was when we went on our beach trip though!
the whole back of our house is a dead spot, would be great to be able to use thing on our back deck
I’d be using the hotspot in my car.
I traveled a lot for work and would need to email documents or get directions. I really wish I had wi-fi in those times b/c it would a lot less stressful. I would love it now b/c i do still travel frequently and just feel better knowing i’m connected.
on vacation!
I would use the mobile hotspot for my Ipad so it would work every where I go.
