K’NEX Beasts Alive!

Thanks to K’nex for providing this great building set!

My son loves building things so I thought this year we’d try our hand at some K’nex sets. I received this Beasts Alive building set and decided to give it a try. The set looks just like a dragon after you put it together, and it has working moving parts! I cannot wait for my son to see this.

I was actually able to get about half the beast build myself in just over 1/2 hours time. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow, and I’m sure any kid could probably do this even faster than I did.

You can already start to see the legs taking shape, and start to see what the overall body is going to look like. I’ve got it started, and I plan on letting my son help me finish this. I know he is going to love it as we have tried other smaller K’nex sets before and he thought they were great.

If you’d like to try your hand at this set for yourself – or you know a lucky kid who would love to build this, just let me know in the comments. I’m giving a set away to one lucky reader!

My favorite holiday traditions are where each side of my family does Xmas eve two different ways, 1. For 1 nephew where Santa comes Xmas eve after dinner as the neighbor will ring the door bell and leave the black bag full of gifts. 2. Where Santa comes Xmas eve and in the morning there are wonderful gifts under the tree and half eaten cookies and milk is gone For 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Both of my nephews would love to bild the Beast!
