Most women I know shave under their arms, myself included. One thing I didn’t know until recently is that shaving can be harsh on underarm skin, and as a result of shaving your underarm skin loses 50% more moisture, which can lead to dryness and irritation. Part of feeling ready and refreshed every morning includes our moisturizing routine. We spend so much time caring for and moisturizing the rest of our body that we often forget to consider an area that frequently goes unnoticed: our underarms.

- More about Dove Clear Tone
Dove wants to help upgrade your daily beauty regimen with Dove Clear Tone Antiperspirant/Deodorant. Specially formulated with Calendula and Sunflower Seed extracts, Dove Clear Tone is designed to reduce red and dark marks caused by shaving irritation. In addition to providing even-looking skin tone over time,Dove Clear Tone also offers ¼ moisturizers in the formula and 48-hour odor and wetness protection.
Why I use Dove deodorant
Great scents and lasting protection!
I typically use Dove deodorant because I love the scents they offer, and I love the fact that Dove has moisturizers in the deodorant that leave my skin feeling soft…not dry, rough, and itchy. I also love that the deodorant protection lasts. The Dove Clear Tone offers 48-hour odor and wetness protection (as do the go-fresh solids I usually use), and I’ve never had an issue where it didn’t seem like it was working.
Trying the new Dove Clear Tone antiperspirant/deodorant
I was recently able to try the new Clear Tone deodorants Dove offers, and the first thing I always do is smell them. I mean what woman doesn’t? You don’t want to wear something you can’t stand the smell of, right? Both the Sheer Touch and Pink/Rosa scents I tried are very subtle, yet inviting scents. I wasn’t overwhelmed by either of them, and both were quite enjoyable to wear.
I wouldn’t say I’m a highly active person right now, but after using the Clear Tone deodorant for just a few days I can already tell this product is another great item in the Dove line-up. My skin feels great, and the wetness protection is as effective as I would expect it to be from a great brand like Dove. One thing to note is that when I am more active (and not 7 1/2 months pregnant) I still use the same product from Dove and it offers amazing wetness protection.
Why should you give Dove a try?
If you are someone who gets darkness or red spots after shaving I would take a look at what Dove has to offer. The Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant is designed to reduce red and dark marks in just two weeks, while also providing 1 / 4 moisturizers to replenish skin. I’ve never actually had a problem with red marks myself (maybe because I already use Dove), but if you have had this problem I think Dove Clear Tone is a great option to try!
If you don’t have an issue with red spots I would try Dove just for the moisturizing aspect alone. My underarms always feel great and the wetness protection has always been top notch.
