REVIEW:
This LCD writing tablet has truly been a life saver for me when it comes to helping my son improve his writing skills this summer. He is five years old and just finished pre-school last year. I wanted him to practice over the summer but he just absolutely hates having to write letters in lines on paper. I introduced my son to the Boogie Board Rip pictured here and he was hooked. He thought it was great to be able to use something “special” to practice his writing, and he thought it was pretty cool that you could save anything he wrote and then hit a button to erase it! My two year old daughter also enjoyed using the Boogie Board just to doodle. I love that I don’t have scraps of paper lying around with all her doodles on, but instead I will be able to pull up a pdf file in 10 years and go back and look at all her creations! I even took the Boogie Board to my local Lioness club meeting and used it to take notes. To be honest, I usually lose all of the notes I take at these meetings because they are typically just on a scrap of paper that gets tossed or lost. Now I can take notes, save them, and pull them up on the computer anytime! The only downside of this LCD writing tablet is that you cannot erase as you go. It is either erase all or nothing. So if you make a mistake in one line, you have to cross it out and continue or erase everything. This is not too big a deal for me, but I guess if you were trying to create a masterpiece you would have to be very careful. Overall, we do really enjoy using this writing tablet and think you would too! The good news is you will get a chance to win one! Check out the giveaway info listed below.
