Shake-N-Pour Desserts From Betty Crocker. A Simpler Way to Bake! ~Review and Giveaway (US 18+)

Things are often pretty hectic around our house, so to find the time to make desserts is a real treat.  My kids love helping me in the kitchen and often get a little diappointed when mom says, “lets make cookies,” and then I pull out the frozen, pre-formed cookies that you just stick on the sheet and bake.  The dissapointment on my son’s face last time did not go unnoticed. In fact, he made a point to tell me that he wanted to “make” the cookies, not just put them on the cookie sheet.

Unfortunately we didn’t have time to do anything about it that day, but since then I have found a way that not only allows the kids to help a little more, but still lets me make treats fast and without all the mess!  Shake-N-Pour desserts by Betty Crocker or not only fast, they are easy to make!  You simply add water to the container, shake it up, and pour into your cake pan, brownie pan, cupcake pan, etc.

WHAT THE MOMMY BUNCH SAYS……

So far I have tried the Confetti cake mix and the Brownie mix.  I think these taste pretty much the same as any cake mix you would get in a box, but you with these you don’t have to add any ingredients other than water.  The brownies tasted good, but the pan I used was a little too big and mine were kinda on the thin side.  They still tasted fine though.  🙂

Basically, if you like boxed cake mixes, these will be just as good….only easier to make!  If you are more of a “from scratch” type of person, then this is probably not what you are looking for anyway.
