You never know what the weather is going to bring, and some days being stuck inside can give you a case of the winter blues. It is during these times, those little lulls in life that we so rarely get, that I feel is the perfect time to learn something new, find a new favorite show to binge watch, or even just get some much-needed rest and relaxation.

To help you make the most of what life and mother nature throws your way, check out my recommended apps to help you stave off those winter blues!

We will have to check out some of those apps (as long as I can pull my boys away from Minecraft long enough)! Thanks for the suggestions!

Game apps are great when you’re stuck in the house. I’m not prone to winter blues, but even I start getting a little stir crazy if I’m cooped up for too long.

Winter time can be awful for the winter blahs! We get nothing but gray skys here in Washington during the winter which can be fairly depressing

I’m a foodie so I have so many food junkie apps on my phone. I think sometimes I need an intervention. I really need to get back to creating more food posts.

Playing games and having fun definitely helps me fight my winter blues. I find the more challenged my brain is throughout the winter the better I feel all around.
