4 weeks challenge

If you missed challenge #5 in the 4 Weeks to a Clutter Free Home challenge, head over here to get caught up.

This weekend was actually pretty great. I got to spend time with my family, started a new part-time weekend job, got some stuff on my list done, and even had time to bake…something I haven’t done in quite a while but have been dying to do.

So, what did I get done from my list? Well, I was able to get my entire mail center and recycle anything that was junk mail. The stack of mail was huge (I was way behind on this), but the best part about doing this…I found a $30 Toys R Us gift card that had been lost/missing!  Bonus!

I also cleared off the kitchen table, and started getting the counters cleaned off. I still have a bit to do on the counters, but a little progress is better than none.   🙂

Picking out five things to get rid of each day of the challenge has actually been a lot easier than I thought it would be. There are so many things in our house that never get used, I can just walk into any room and grab a couple things. This time I have some old clothes, some old sheets, and a ripped bean bag. All things are being donated.
