  • CB radio
  • Seatbelts or harnesses
  • Full-size spare tire
  • Jack that will lift your truck
  • Jackboard or foot

  • Toolkit
  • Full tank of fuel
  • Liability insurance

Many trails you’ll be on will be far from any repair shops or parts stores so it is also a good idea to stock the following recommended 4×4 Off-Road Accessories.

  • Spare parts (hubs, ignition, belts, u-joints, assorted hardware)
  • Tree saver strap & shackle
  • First aid kit
  • Axe or saw
  • Shovel
  • Air pump or compressor
  • Tire plug kit
  • Extra fluids (oil, water, gas, ATF, fluids for transfer case, differential, power steering, brakes)
  • Winch
  • Survival kit
  • Lunch
  • Cell phone

Remember, you always risk damaging your vehicle body or some mechanical damage when off-roading. The above requirements and suggestions for 4×4 Off-Road Accessories are meant to help prevent that (although not guaranteed).
