I have literally been searching high and low across the internet for a product that would allow me to keep the plethora of papers and projects my son comes home with organized.  Last year all of his work came home, and then ended up just creating a big cluttered up pile on our kitchen table because we didn’t know what to do with it.  Eventually we moved everything into a box in the closet so we could hang onto the items to possibly put in a scrapbook someday for when he is older.  This year I was determined not to have this same problem, but I could not find anything that would suit our needs without taking up much space.

After a long extensive search, I found The Homework Caddy.  Just looking at it online I could tell it would be perfect for what we needed it for.  It has four large pockets to hold different types of paperwork, projects, homework to be done, etc.  In addition, it also has a dry-erase and calendar combo; something I think will come in handy for keeping all of our son’s school activities straight without cluttering up our main calendar.  It also has one large clear pocket for displaying items, and two smaller clear pockets for storing small items.  It comes with a dry-erase marker and a place to store it, as well as two hooks for hanging the caddy up.  Literally everything you need comes in the package!  I was really excited to get it and try it out.

I hung up the caddy right below our family calendar, and as you can see it fits in perfectly.  It is low enough for my son to be able to use, and fills the space just right.

I’ve already added a few things to the calendar even though school hasn’t started yet.

Apparently my daughter was excited about getting this as well because she wanted to color on the dry-erase board before I even got a chance to hang it up!

I am really excited to have something to help keep us organized, and I am sure The Homework Caddy will get use for years to come.  If you would like to find out more or order one for yourself, you can visit The Homework Caddy site.  They come in four different designs and are only $25.99 plus shipping, which I think is a steal!  I’ve found other organizers not quite as nice as this that were priced twice as expensive.
