Annie's – Eat Happy #spons

My kids are huge pasta lovers. If you ask my daughter what she wants to eat for dinner, her answer will always be “noodles!” So when we had the chance to try some of the Annie’s Homegrown Macaroni and Cheese varieties, I was thrilled. I love finding great food that my kids will not only eat, but is also good for us and the environment.

Annie’s Uses Real Ingredients

Annie’s uses real ingredients, which is one of the things I love about them. In fact, switching our family over to more foods that are organic is one of my goals, and Annie’s plays a big role in that!  According to the Annie’s website:

The farmers who grow our ingredients are just as passionate about quality and sustainability as we are, and we value the people and places that help our product travel from farm to fork. We make it our responsibility to take on important issues–such as supporting organic practices and honest labeling – so you can be sure that the products you buy from Annie’s are as authentic as possible.

A Great Dinner Idea For Busy Families

More often than not, when it is my turn to make dinner for the kids I need something quick and easy. My husband is usually the dinner guy because he gets home before the rest of us, but there are occasions where I’m left in charge of it all.

By the time I get home it is late and everyone is ravaging with hunger. This quick meal of Chicken Nuggets, peas, and Bernie’s Farm macaroni & cheese from Annie’s was just the ticket. Easy. Fast. Fun. Delicious!

My kids had a blast trying to pick out the tractors, rabbits, cows, and carrots; and I was thrilled that they both cleaned their plates. Dinner accomplished!

We tried the cheesy taco flavor another day when we had some family over. The kids weren’t as big of fans of that one, but the adults loved it…something for everyone!

Tasty Snacks

In addition to the mac & cheese that we tried, we also dug into the Cheddar Squares. And when I mean dug in, I mean they were gone in no time flat. I didn’t even have a chance to get a picture…at least one that wasn’t blurry. So I got this one from Annie’s instead, I think it is adorable.  😉

Do your kids love mac & cheese as much as mine do? Let me know their favorite, and next time you are out shopping check out Annie’s!

Our main grocery store doesn't carry Annie's products. We have filled out a request card asking them to carry this line of foods. It is worth the extra trip that we have to make to purchase these products. I feel good about feeding them to our family. Reply
