baby shower basketSetting up a baby registry can feel like a daunting task.  Heading to multiple stores to find just the right products, setting up multiple registry accounts, and asking your guests to find those items in multiple locations. Did you know there is an easier way?

As a mom of three, I’m all about doing things the easy way. I had a baby shower for my first child, and since it was quite a few years between my second and third child — we had another. Both times it was a bit of a hassle getting everything set up.

Expecting mothers and fathers can now get everything on their wish lists for their newborn from one universal baby registry. is the premiere destination for universal gift registry services and gives customers the flexibility to choose items like cribs and strollers, from any store in the world—whether it be a local mom and pop shop without a website or a national chain superstore.

Here are five reasons why is the number one source for baby registries:

This is a biggie. Having one place to shop instead of having your guests run from store to store or website to website is really great. allows you to sync other registries (i.e. Giggle, The Land of Nod,, Amazon, Target et al.) and keep all of them organized onto one universal gift list. Synced registries are automatically updated each time you login to your registry or when somebody visits. Your friends and family will only need to go to one place to buy your baby’s present.

You can tastefully register for cash with This service allows members to customize their cash funds for any use. The Cash Gift Fund lets the purchaser give money towards the baby’s college fund; building a nursery, diapers or other essentials. This feature is also alleviates the burden of asking for cash as a gift.

I love that I can see what other users are adding. It might help me remember to add something I had forgotten about, or even show me things I hadn’t even thought of! features pages of gifts chosen by others real time.

You can send beautiful eCards announcing your registry or enable friends to send eCards on your behalf. also allows you to customize your registry’s URL, share your gift list to all your social networks — or go the traditional way and download and print beautiful registry announcements to add to your shower invitation.

While in any brick and mortar store, moms and dads can scan any product’s barcode to add items to their gift list with their Smartphone. One scan of the barcode and the item instantly appears with photo and description on your registry. In addition, parents can add items from stores with a photo, description and notes on where to purchase the item.
