BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers - for scrapbooks, crafts, and more!

Ever since I was a young child I’ve loved playing with markers, crayons, and anything that would allow me to add some color to my life — or since I’m not so creative, add some color to my writing at least. Recently I had the chance to try out a 36 pack of BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers and I was thrilled to have so many colors to work with. Of course having that many colors and super awesome markers doesn’t mean that you’ll find time to create super awesome projects, and/or that your equipment will always work right.

Good intentions

I had intended on using my new Silhouette Cameo and using the marker tool to create some amazing designs using the BIC Mark-It markers, however, I haven’t been able to get my cameo to connect to my new computer. So until that issue gets resolved, I was stuck doing artwork by hand — and let me be the first to say I’m no artist.

Custom gift bags

I was armed with some blank gift bags, gift tags, and my markers. I decided to design a bag with a Christmas tree and some gifts (because that is about where my artistry ends), and added a custom tag for grandma.

Although I didn’t get to do exactly what I had planned, I still of course had fun using the markers. Something about putting color to paper always relaxes me. I even had my kids pull out their coloring books and crayons so we could color a bit as I realized how much I used to like doing stuff like this. 🙂
