The first time I saw the Chrysler Pacifica I was mesmerized by the redesigned interior (compared to the Town & Country that I currently have). I climbed inside and I was completely blown away. There was so much room in both the front and rear cab, and the tech that this family vehicle offers is top of the line. The Pacifica exudes comfort and luxury while still being functional for a family.

With lots of family road trips in our future, the next time we upgrade we will definitely be going with the Chrysler Pacifica!

Top Safety Pick

The 2019 model was awarded the IIHS Top Safety pick, and with all the safety features that are included, I can see why. There is an available full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, blind-spot monitoring, available adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and an available 360 degree surround view camera.

I can tell you that I love having adaptive cruise control in a vehicle and it’s one of those things that once you have it, it’s hard to go back!

Technology

Second-row Stow ‘n Go bucket seats that fold into floor bins remain a distinguishing feature that enhances Pacifica’s versatility and remains one of the top reasons I love this vehicle. The extra room under the seats is great for storage on long trips, while the ability to fold the seats away when you need to haul something is a huge bonus.

The available Uconnect multimedia system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen is easy to use and the available dual-screen Uconnect Theater rear-seat entertainment system is a hit with kids. With games and apps included, the kids can never complain about being bored again!

The Pacifica Hybrid lets you drive gas-free for shorter trips while still being able to tackle a family road trip.

One of the newest features that I’m excited about is the available hands-free power liftgate and hands-free power sliding doors. You simply swing your foot under the sliding doors or liftgate and they’ll open automatically!

My husband is delighted by the Stow ‘N Vac system — he’s a bit of a neat freak when it comes to our vehicle and not having to haul out the Shop-Vac to clean up the van is a huge time saver.

You’ll want to check out what is included with each model as there are several options available, but for the most part, you are getting the same fuel economy (with the exception of the hybrid version), engine, suspension, a power liftgate, and blind-spot detection. What you will be paying more for are the added features like Uconnect Theater with streaming and Stow ‘N Go vac, extra safety features, extra seating, park assist, etc.
