Cook’n 10 Recipe Organizer Software – Review and Giveaway! ~Ended~

I can honestly say I have an issue with finding recipes online and then losing them into the cyberspace oblivion never to be found again.  I once made a chocolate cake that was TO DIE FOR, but I could not find where I originally found the recipe (still have not found to this date), and all subsequent chocolate cakes have just not lived up to that one perfect cake recipe.  This has happened to me so many times, where I find a really good recipe that I either want to try, or have tried and want to make again, and then I can NEVER FIND THE DUMB PAGE AGAIN!  This is where Cook’n has been seriously a miracle delivered right to my doorstep (well inbox really but who is keeping track).

When I was contacted about reviewing the product, I have to admit, at first I just though, “oh great, another recipe thing that I am going to have to remember where everything is and it is just going to get lost into oblivion.”  Sooooo not the case!  This software is AMAZING!  I am literally finding it hard to put into words how easy and wonderful it has been to be able to find recipes online, and instantly save them all in one place, never to be lost again.  You don’t need to log into anything since the software is saved right to your desk top, and cook n serve automatically takes any recipe you find on a website and puts the ingredients, directions, and nutritional information directly into their system for you so you have everything right at your fingertips.  It even references the original site you found it in case you ever want to go back there again.

You can create your own cookbooks with your own recipes, or use the pre-

loaded recipes they already have for you.  You can make meal plans for the week or if you are ambitious, for the month.  It really is such a great tool I don’t know how I lived without this before!  And for those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, you may recall I have been trying to get into a routine of making lots of meals on one day to freeze for a later time, well the cook n serve can help me organize what meals I want to make on a certain day, and keep planning ahead.

This is what you see on the main screen once you open the program:

From here you can search recipes online to save into your database, view recipes you already have saved (or the ones that come pre-installed), view your menu plans, view nutritional information of any recipe; or you can create a new recipe, menu, or print and enjoy!  You can even create a shopping list from your meal plan so you know exactly what you need to get!

I was so thrilled to have this tool available to me, and now you can have it too!

I love that it's a place to not only organize your recipes, but you can pull recipes from the internet that I want to try without random pieces of paper everywhere. Reply
