If you are looking to try a new craft or need something fun to keep your kids occupied, Annie’s Craft Clubs may be the perfect fit.
I just discovered Annie’s Craft Kits through their Creative Girls Club, which is currently offering 80% off the first month for all new members. We signed up Isabella and LOVED it!

With the Creative Girls Club, you’ll receive two craft kits for your child and only pay $1.99 each + shipping. Both kits will be at your door for less than $10. The crafts were charming and age-appropriate for ages 7-13. If you have a little crafter in that age range, I would definitely encourage you to check out this offer before it expires. It’s an incredible deal!
After trying out the Creative Girls Club I realized that Annie’s has a whole host of clubs and right now all the other kits are 50% off! I bought several kits so I could check them out (still waiting on arrival).
Craft Kits at 50% Off
Here are my thoughts before receiving any of them (I’ll update once I have tried them) plus the link for 50% off in case you want to order one. It’s worth noting that after I ordered two I started getting promo emails to try the other kits for much cheaper (ex: free plus shipping or 80% off plus free shipping). If you are interested in more than one I would recommend signing up for the creative girls kit and another and see if you get the same deals sent your way.
If you decide you don’t want to keep your subscriptions simply send an email to cancel. Also, if you don’t like a kit, you can send it back for a refund.
All of the kits below are 50% off as of posting this. Simply click the link to the one that interests you, add your address and payment info, use code SHARE50, and you will be set.
Annie’s Crochet Striped Afghan Club: I used to crochet with my great-grandmother when I was younger but have long forgotten how, so I really love this idea of this kit club. Each month you receive supplies to learn how to crochet three different rows of a blanket. At the end of the year, you will have a completed blanket, complete with all different stitches. I think it is a rad idea and honestly, the thought of having a new blanket at the end of this year that included a long stretch of staying at home feels like a really special keepsake. Plus, you get everything you need, even the crochet hook, making this a good deal!
Annie’s Crochet Afghan Block-of-the-Month Club: This is the same as the one above, though you make blocks instead of stripes. So fun! Again, this link will get you 50% off.
Annie’s Creative Woman Kit-of-the-Month Club: If you know me, you know I love anything to do with crafting so, of course, I had to sign up for this kit. Others have stated how they were disappointed in this one even at 50% off so we’ll see how it turns out. Looking at the site, I’m not sure I’d want to pay $24.95 for this going forward, but maybe you will feel differently. I know I can make a lot of the stuff that they showcase in this kit using my Cricut Maker with a bit more creative wiggle room.
Annie’s Simply Beads Kit-of-the-Month Club: I have never done beadwork before, but this kit has some pretty necklaces so I may give it a shot. I will report back, but the supplies and instructions make it seem like this was a great kit to try for 50% off. This would also be a good one for a teen or pre-teen.
Annie’s Caring Crochet Kit Club: Crochet for a cause. This kit is built around gifts that you can give, like chemo caps or blankets for seriously ill children.
Annie’s CardMaker Kit-of-the-Month Club: I’m not into card making when you have to cut, glue, paste, etc., so this kit isn’t for me. If you enjoy that kind of stuff you can make quite a few cards for less than you’d pay in the store.
Annie’s Hook & Needle Kit Club: This is a combo kit club for those who knit or crochet. You’ll receive all the yarn and patterns and choose how you want to make it.
Annie’s Creative Quilters Fabric Club: If you are a quilter, this is the club for you. With six perfectly coordinated, 100% cotton fat quarters and a bonus pattern, this may or may not be a good price depending on whether or not you love to get new fabric consistently.
Annie’s Knit Afghan Kit-of-the-Month Club: This is the same as the crochet, but you knit instead of crochet
Young Woodworkers Kit Club: Austin loves Tinker Crates, so I was looking for another kit to keep him busy. Young Woodworkers Kit Club is 50% off right now! He enjoyed receiving his own hammer with this kit and assembled a wood candy dispenser. The project was advanced enough that at 13 he still needed a bit help from me. It took about 45 minutes to build and he had a lot of fun with it. At 50% off this craft kit for kids is a great activity to do during this time.
I hope you find a craft kit that works out for you or your kids and provides you with some enjoyment.
