Mornings in our home are hectic. Herding everyone around to get dressed, brush their teeth, and make sure they have everything they need for the day doesn’t always leave a lot of time for breakfast, especially a hot breakfast.
My kids are big breakfast fans too. They love a nice big hot breakfast, and homemade waffles, pancakes, and sausages are high on the list of food they like to eat. The problem is, in all our hustle and bustle of the morning, we usually don’t have time for a big to-do of a breakfast except on the weekends. More often than not breakfast is a granola bar or a bowl of dry cereal that gets brought along as we are running out the door.
Aunt Jemima makes hot breakfast easy, and just like mom would make!
When I heard about the new Aunt Jemima Lil’ Griddles, I thought that they would be the perfect way to give my family the hot breakfast they want and love, while not worrying about the time I would need to make it.
The best part is, Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast puts love and care into every step – from stirring the batter and pouring it on a hot griddle to flipping the fluffy and bubbling pancakes, just like you do.
The new Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast Lil’ Griddles line has three delicious bite-sized options for family fun; new Aunt Jemima frozen Blueberry Mini pancakes, Aunt Jemima frozen Mini pancakes, and Aunt Jemima frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks.
In addition to the Lil’ Griddles line, Aunt Jemima has a whole selection of frozen breakfast options available. The last time I went to the grocery store they were actually all out of our favorite Lil’ Griddles, so we decided to try out the frozen Sandwiches. The kids were not one bit disappointed in the taste and quality of these!
The perfect breakfast on-the-go
The Aunt Jemima sausage egg and cheese croissant, and the sausage egg and cheese griddlecakes were a huge hit in our house! They just take a few minutes to warm in the microwave, or you can heat them in the oven but it does take a bit longer.
Once the sandwiches were ready, the kids had a hot meal that they truly loved. Plus it was easy to take with us if they didn’t finish eating before it was time to leave.
My three year old daughter tried the sausage egg and cheese croissant with a piece of string cheese on the side.
She has never been a huge sandwich eater so I was worried about how this was going to go over, but she actually ate it down in no time!
My son fell in love with the griddlecakes. He loves pancakes and eggs, so these were the perfect combination for him!
The griddlecakes were so good that he gobbled it down right after he got out of the shower, and then asked if he could take a second one to have for his lunch at school. Now that is a high recommendation!
