I have to admit, this was the fastest meal we have made in a long time. It literally took about 15 minutes from start to end, and that included putting the ingredients on and heating these up! You are going to fall in love with these personal pizzas and I’m sure your kids will too.
I cannot remember where I got the inspiration to try this out, it was probably something on Pinterest that I saw and thought “what if I try it this way instead, I bet that would be just as good, lol.” That and the fact that we have a lot of cheese and pre-cooked sausage to use up thanks to my husband buying out the sale supply at work. These worked out perfectly and I will definitely be making them again!
To make these personal pizzas simple get some flour tortillas, add pizza sauce, and load up with whatever ingredients your heart desires. Bake in a 375 degree oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly – or if you don’t use cheese then bake until heated through.
Here are some pictures of the pizzas my kids made. My daughter made a cheese and sausage pizza, and my son decided he didn’t want any cheese on his pizza. Since they were making their own I let them decide what they wanted to put on it. In hindsight I probably should have put out more choices, like pineapple, mushrooms, etc.; however, we were all so excited to make our own pizzas I didn’t even think about it!
All in all this was a great recipe! It was so easy to do, and the kids had a blast making their own pizzas. The crust was perfectly crispy and everything tasted great! We will be making this again!
