Although I don’t need prescription glasses anymore (I had lasik), I still like to get a good quality pair of sunglasses, and I usually find those from a reputable eyeglass dealer.  I really need a new pair, because for those of you who read the blog, you know my family and I are taking a trip to Disney in a couple of weeks.  It is going to be a huge change from the mild weather we have here in WI, to the full blast of sunlight in Florida.  I want to make sure I am prepared!

One place to find great sunglasses is to shop www.glasses.com/sunglasses/.  Glasses.com is by 1800contacts®, so you know they are a reliable company.  Plus they have top brands and tons of styles, but the best part is, you can upload a picture of yourself and see how the sunglasses would look on you before you buy!  That is awesome!

One thing my husband always says when buying sunglasses, is that he really likes polarized ones.  After using his sunglasses whenever I take his car instead of mine (he has an old pair of Oakleys that he needs to replace), I can see why he says that.  I think I will have to definitely look into getting a polarized pair this time around.

I found a really cute pair that I think would look good on me.  I love purple, so these would be a great fit, and at $49 with free shipping, sounds like an awesome deal to me!  Here is what they look like:

If you don’t need sunglasses, you can get actual prescription glasses as well, and right now they have a sale for 50% off lenses through April 15th.  If your insurance covers eye glasses, you may also be able to get reimbursed, but you’d have to check with your provider.  Glasses.com offers a 30 day no questions asked return policy, as well as a 1 year warranty.  You really can’t go wrong with that kind of protection!  Click here for Glasses.com to see the vast selection and all the great deals they have to offer.
