Disney+ has been adding more and more great content, and their latest movie to hit the small screen, Flora & Ulysses, is no exception. My family and I watched this cute movie about 10-year-old Flora and the squirrel she rescued, and while it had it’s cheesy moments, we found it quite enjoyable and fun to watch.

Flora & Ulysses Synopsis

Disney’s “Flora & Ulysses” is a delightful comedy-adventure based on the Newbery Award-winning book about 10-year old Flora, an avid comic book fan and a self-avowed cynic, whose parents have recently separated. After rescuing a squirrel she names Ulysses, Flora is amazed to discover he possesses unique superhero powers which take them on an adventure of humorous complications that ultimately change Flora’s life–and her outlook–forever.

Kids’ Review of Flora & Ulysses

Since this movie is aimed at kids, I thought I’d ask my kids what their thoughts were after watching. My two youngest loved the quirky action and were glued to the screen until the end.

“I liked when the squirrel got sucked up by the vacuum — and that he could fly!” – my 5yr old son.

“It was really good. I liked watching it.” – my 7yr old daughter.

They were short and sweet with their responses, but they definitely loved it and will probably watch it again and again on Disney+!

While the movie is geared toward the younger crowd, adults will enjoy watching right alongside their kids — at least one time through anyway.
