I know we have been stuck in the polar vortex as of late, however, Spring IS on the way and for me that means shopping for some new outfits for the kids! Plus, it is an excuse to get out of the house because with this extreme cold and me being on maternity leave, I literally have been stuck in the house for what feels like forever!
Mom and Daughter Outting – Shopping Trip!
So on the one warm day we had here in Wisconsin, I decided it would be a mom/daughter shopping day and headed to OshKosh B’gosh with my two girls. I love shopping there because they have a great selection and they usually have some pretty awesome deals. For this trip I actually forgot to check to see if there were any coupons available before we left *gasp*, but the kind lady at the store said there was a 20% off sale going on right now and grabbed a coupon for me from behind the counter. I just LOVE when retailers are willing to go the extra mile!
Amazing spring fashions
The trip was a success as we were able to find some spring clothing for each of my kids and really add to the baby’s wardrobe. My older daughter was having a blast helping me pick out baby girls clothes, and she even got to pick out a few things for herself and for her brother. It was a great day just spending time together!
The biggest decision she made was which of the girl’s tees she wanted to take home. It was between the unicorn and the heart. The unicorn ended up winning out in the end although at a doorbuster price of only $7 I probably could have let her have both. 🙂
After we got home my daughter immediately picked out the dress she wanted to wear the next day. Even though it isn’t quite warm enough yet I let her wear it since we weren’t going anywhere anyway. We decided to put on a little fashion show and she got to show off her beautiful new dress!
Great clothing selection for babies
My baby girl is a little too young to help us with a fashion show but she ended up with quite a few new outfits for spring/summer! We were able to purchase 12 new items of clothing for her plus a swimsuit. We also got three pieces for my oldest daughter, and two new items for my son. In total I spent $150 on all of these clothes plus got $30 in rewards dollars back that I can spend on whatever I want! I’m always amazed at how far my dollar goes at OshKosh B’gosh and this trip was no exception.
