Having an office party? Making cleaning the dishes simple.

I love a good office party. Having everyone bring a dish to pass in a potluck is a great way to boost morale, get an easy lunch, and have a little fun around the office.

I decided to throw a little impromptu mini-party for my co-workers this week and brought in some goodies to share. Shh…don’t tell anyone I sampled before I brought them. I can’t be the only one who samples before they share, right?  🙂

At the office, everyone got brownies and egg rolls (I made the brownies and another co-worker made the egg rolls). Everyone was really excited to have a little treat, fill their bellies, and just get a little break from the norm.

They were also pretty excited that I had some Cascade packs to share with them. I was given the honor of showing a few friends/co-workers just how well Cascade Platinum works on even the stuck on messes, so I figured this would be the perfect occasion.

I made the brownies the night before, left the dirty pan sit out while I packaged up the actual brownies on a nice plate, and then brought everything to work with me. Since we have a dishwasher at work I was able to run everything through the wash cycle after we were all done sampling.

By the end of the day everyone had their fill of brownies, we had clean dishes, and each guest had a set of dish-washing packs they could use at home.

Everyone was pretty impressed with the cleaning power of the Cascade Platinum. If you’d like to learn more about Cascade, be sure to visit them on their website or social media:

I don't really have any funny office party stories. I have heard some though! Reply

Once we were having a special dinner and I was carrying full plates of spaghetti and meat sauce to the table. My future parent's-in-law's weiner dog got right under my feet, I tripped, and spilled spaghetti all over the dog. Yikes! Reply

One of my co-workers got super drunk at a Christmas party and pretty much told the boss what he thought of the company..super funny and awkward. Reply

I've been wanting to try these, I always use cascade in my dishwasher but have not tried the pods yet. I don't have an office party story, but I went to a wedding recently where the bride/groom and a few of the wedding party jumped into a pool with their gown/tux. It was funny and crazy to see that in person. Reply

I failed to get a plunger before the party, and well, let's just say we needed it. Reply
