For those looking for a vehicle to accommodate their entire family, there are a lot of things to consider, especially if you have a family of more than four people.

Some of the things we always consider before we decide on a new vehicle include safety equipment, comfort, convenience and more. So, why could the Honda Odyssey be a good vehicle for families?

I’m immediately drawn to the Odyssey thanks to its impressive size and space for both passengers and cargo. In fact, while the standard Odyssey trim has standard seating for up to seven passengers, upgraded Odyssey models offer seating for up to eight passengers.

Magic Slide Seats

Other great options include conveniences such as the Magic Slide 2nd-Row Seats which allow people to quickly and easily access the 3rd row. These Magic Slide 2nd-Row Seats also make it easy for drivers to arrange the seats in the Odyssey for loading up the back with gear or luggage.

Snow Mode

If you’re going away on a trip, sometimes elements such as snow can slow you down or cause accidents. However, the available Snow Mode in the Odyssey helps the van by recalibrating the traction control system to give drivers even more control in icy or snowy driving conditions.

This is a huge plus for those of us living in the Midwest where snow is a big concern.

HondaVAC

When it comes to families and young kids, you’re bound to have some snacks or drinks getting spilled — just ask my husband.

Because of this, a fan-favorite feature of the Honda Odyssey is the available HondaVAC. This is a built-in vacuum with a long reach and removable waste basket that makes it easy to vacuum and clean up any messes that happen, and we all know they are bound to happen.

If you have an Odyssey, what do you love about it?
