Drinking more water – week 2

I was off to a rough start this week, but I have started drinking more water than before, which was pretty much zilch. So a slow start is better than nothing at all right?

M- Drank soda 

T- Drank soda

W- Drank 10 oz water

Th- Drank 17 oz water

F- Drank soda and some water

**I do have a coffee every morning in addition to my water.

In addition to my water goal of 24 oz per day during the week (didn’t really meet that this week), I have FINALLY been able to get my husband to help get our home gym set up and ready to go so it is usable. I am very hopeful that we can get together an exercise routine, and that I will have a little more progress for you on the water journey. It has been difficult to say the least. I have been an avid soda drinker since my teens, and it is just so hard to beat those sugar cravings. I have tried some of the artificially sweetened soda’s before, but I just cannot stomach the taste (plus most artificial sweeteners are probably worse for you than just drinking the full sugared stuff anyway).

I’d love to hear what goals some of you are trying to accomplish and any setbacks you are struggling with. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day!
