How to get a perfectly popped bag of popcorn

We love movies nights in our house. I mean, what is not to love about snuggling up with your favorite people and catching a good flick?

When we got home they were so excited to help out that they couldn’t even wait for the movie. We popped some right away and had a snack, but of course we had more once the movie started.

Using the app to make sure we had perfectly popped popcorn was a breeze.

• With your iPhone 5+ on iOS7+, download the Perfect Pop (Perfect Popcorn) for free on the App store.
• Put a bag of Pop Secret in the microwave and enter the suggested cooking time from the packaging. Note: Perfect Pop is optimized for the deliciousness of Pop Secret popcorn only.
• Turn up the volume on your iPhone. Point the speakers towards the microwave and keep within 3 feet.
• Start the microwave, then start the app.

While you are waiting, the app even gives you some fun facts.

No more relying on the popcorn button or guessing how many seconds in between pops. Perfect Pop listens to the pops, waiting for the precise moment to let you know when your popcorn is perfect.

Once we had the perfectly popped popcorn, we sat down and enjoyed it…and the movie. 🙂

The kids thought it was delicious, and I loved that the whole house didn’t smell like burned popcorn!

So does the app really work?

You might be wondering if the app really does anything, or if it is just set to a certain time. I had the same thoughts so I tested it out!

I started the app to see if it would work when nothing was popping, and nope….it only works when you have popcorn in there a-poppin. So it is definitely not a time-set thing, it does listen for the popcorn to let you know when it is done.
