Please Bear With Me — This post is still under construction. Be sure to stop on back for the full instructions once finished! 🙂
I have been wanting to make a welcome sign for the front of my house for some time so I finally decided to just go ahead and make one of my own!
I’ve seen loads of different methods on how to do it, and lots of different designs, but nothing really stood out to me. Nothing had that extra flair. That’s when I decided that adding some flowers to my sign would give it that extra touch I’ve been looking for!
What do you think?

I’ve never even made paper flowers prior to this so I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with felt, but if there’s one thing I’m good at it is figuring out how to do something.
I set myself on the task of finding out how to make this work, and I’m so please with the results!
If you are wondering how to make paper flowers for yourself, you are in luck! Even though I made mine out of felt so that I could use them outside, the process is exactly the same for paper flowers.
How To Assemble Felt or Paper Flowers
The felt/paper flowers I’m going to show you how to make in this tutorial are peony, poppy, and a dahlia found in the 3D Floral Home Decor collection in Design Space, a rolled rose from the Felt Flower collection, and a succelent and a rolled flower that you can find in the Flower Shop collection in Cricut Design Space.
To make it easy, here are the exact make it now projects from Design Space where I found these flowers: Felt Lapel Flower (rolled rose), Felt Flowers (multiple).
