If The Mood Strikes; A List of My Favorite Places!

Today’s NaBloPoMo* writing challenge is about your favorite place.  I have several that I can think of depending on my mood (have I ever mentioned I am moody gal, lol).  Let me lay them out for you:

Energetic:  I love being outside with my kids, either taking them to a fun park, visiting a new place, or just playing around in the yard.

Exhausted: Laying on my couch watching a good show, or a movie that I’ve been wanting to see.

Bitchy/Crabby:  Curled up in my bed with a good book while my husband takes care of putting the kids to bed, or playing with them, or anything that gives me time to myself.

Accomplished:  This is when I like to be home tackling chores like cleaning the house, or sorting through my kids old clothes; things I normally don’t want to do any other time.

Happy:  Believe it or not, I like to be at work.  I am happy when I am at work, I enjoy my job, and I like being there.

There are so many more moods I could mention, but mostly I just love being home spending time with my family.  One of our favorite places to be as a family is in the kitchen doing stuff together.  We bake, cook, do crafts, color, and just enjoy our time together (as long as I’m not in a crabby mood, then we revert to above mentioned favorite places, lol).

NaBloPoMo stands for “National Blog Posting Month” and is a blogging challenge created by the team at BlogHer.  I am always looking for great ideas to write about, so taking this challenge on was a sure thing for me.  I hope I can keep it up each day….check back to see if I do and make sure to scold me if I miss a day!
