Disney Studios has sponsored this event. All opinions are my own.

In case you haven’t heard by now, the classic book, A Wrinkle In Time, is now a major motion picture from Walt Disney Studios! I’ll soon be headed to L.A. for the #WrinkleInTimeEvent to screen the movie, walk the red carpet, and interview the cast. To say I’m excited may be an understatement!

During our time at the event we get to interview Oprah Winfrey (“Mrs. Which”), Reese Witherspoon (“Mrs. Whatsit”), Mindy Kaling (“Mrs. Who”), Storm Reid (“Meg Murry”), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (“Dr. Kate Murry”), Rowan Blanchard (“Veronica”), Levi Miller (“Calvin”), Deric McCabe (“Charles Wallace Murry”), Director Ava DuVernay, and Screenwriter Jennifer Lee!

That’s a fantastic lineup of stars to interview, but before we get to all that take a peek at what I’ll be doing on my four-day trek out to L.A.!

Saturday, February 24

I’m not a morning person, but I’ll have to wake up extra early Saturday morning so I can drive the two hours it takes to get to my regional airport (yes, I live in the middle of nowhere).

After a long day of flying, I’ll meet the other 24 bloggers who are taking part in this event and we’ll all head over to the Disney lot for a reception and screening of A Wrinkle In Time!

A WRINKLE IN TIME (3/9/18

Sunday, February 25

Sunday is a full day of interviews where we will be kept busy discussing all things Wrinkle with the cast, director, and screenwriter.

If you have any questions you’d like me to ask of Oprah, Reese, Mindy, or any of the other interviewees, please leave them in the comments!

Sunday will wrap up by discussing the last season of Scandal with star Bellamy Young (President Mellie Grant). Bellamy also has a small role in A Wrinkle In Time so I’m excited to hear her thoughts on that role as well.

SCANDAL (airs Thursdays at 9:00|10:00c)

Be sure to follow along on Sunday with the hashtags #WRINKLEINTIMEEVENT #SCANDAL AND #ABCTVEVENT to stay up to date on all the happenings throughout the day!

Monday, February 26

Monday takes us back to the Walt Disney Studios lot where we get to screen several new shows in the ABC TV lineup!

First up is the new show Splitting Up Together where we will interview cast members Oliver Hudson (“Martin”), Lindsay Price (“Camille”) and Executive Producer/Showrunner Emily Kapnek.

I’m super excited to see the first three episodes of this show because the previews airing on TV right now have been hilarious!

The next show in the lineup for the day is Deception. Creator and Executive Producer Chris Fedak Co-Producer David Kwong will talk to us all about the show and what is to come. It should be a great conversation!

The final interview for the day will be will with A Wrinkle In Time Costume Designer Paco Delgado. It is always so much fun to hear the visionary ideas behind all the wonderful costumes you see in movies.

But the big thing you’ve been waiting for. The pièce de résistance of the event — The A Wrinkle In Time red carpet event will take place Monday night!

Be sure to follow along with the conversation using #WrinkleInTimeEvent. I’ll be sharing pictures directly from the red carpet premiere, where hopefully I’ll get a chance to catch a few pictures of some of the stars in their beautiful red carpet attire. You won’t want to miss it!

Tuesday, February 27

The last day of the event will start off with a bit more ABC TV fun. We head back over to the Disney lot for a few more screenings and Q&A sessions.

Our first screening and interview of the day is for the new ABC show, For The People. Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Allison Adams”), Susannah Flood (“Kate Littlejohn”) and Wesam Keesh (“Jay Simmons”) will be on hand for interviews.

Tweet your questions live using #ForThePeople and #ABCTVEvent.

Next, a show I’m looking forward to seeing this season, Alex, Inc. Zach Braff (“Alex Schuman”) and Tiya Sircar (“Rooni Shuman”) and Executive Producer Matt Tarses will be on site answering our questions. As a long time fan of both Zach and Tiya, I’m pretty excited to see the direction this show takes.

After the last interview of the day, sadly my time in L.A. has to come to an end and I’ll be heading back to the airport. But don’t worry, the fun won’t stop there! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I publish full details of all our interviews, my time on the red carpet, show reviews, and more!
