When you have a house full of devices and your life revolves around being connected, you want to make sure that connection is safe. Not only do you want to have parental controls that help you keep your kids safer and be smart online, but you want to make sure your personal information doesn’t get hacked or stolen somehow. This is where CUJO comes in.
CUJO is a smart firewall for the connected home, designed to bring business-level security to the home network. This one device will secure all devices connecting to the WiFi router in your home.
What Can CUJO Do?
CUJO detects and blocks malicious sites, viruses, and hacks. Think of it like antivirus for your entire network. Plus, CUJO lets you control what your kids access online and keep them safe.
Main Features
- BUSINESS-LEVEL INTERNET SECURITY
- GUARDS ALL DEVICES

I absolutely love knowing that I’m protected, but I also like that CUJO has some built-in safeguards for my kids with the addition of parental controls. Having everything in one device really helps in that you don’t have to remember which site you have this feature or that feature, CUJO can do it all.

- alerts and reporting

Setting Up CUJO
All you have to do to set up CUJO is plug it in, download the app, and follow the instructions. It has a really simple setup process for most users.
We have a slightly different setup than some in that we have a split router, which means that we have one router that splits into several WiFi access points so that we can delegate how we want things streaming in our household, and make sure that if someone is working at home everyone else isn’t eating up all their bandwidth when streaming television. Because of this I did run into a snag with the setup, but after playing around a bit we were able to get it up and running.
The bottom line is that if you want something to protect your network, you need a strong firewall. CUJO does more than just block malicious attacks, it also monitors your kids’ traffic, lets you know if there are weaknesses in your network, and monitors everything in real time. Give CUJO a try and see what’s on your network!
