Thank you to Johnson’s Baby for keeping a #PromiseToBaby and for sponsoring this post.

What is the number one thing that most new (and not new) parents think about when it comes to their baby? I’m going to guess that it is safety — how do we keep our baby safe, how do we make sure nothing happens to our child, how do we give our child the best start in life?

Safety can mean choosing the best car seat, picking out the best foods, and making sure you using the best products on your baby — like soaps and lotions that don’t have harmful chemicals in them. As I look back on what I have wanted for my children, the concerns I have seem to grow with each subsequent child. Perhaps it is because I am more educated and more experienced as a mom; or perhaps getting older just gives me more wisdom, but one thing remains the same — I want the best and safest products for my kids.

With this in mind, when I heard that Johnson’s Baby decided to listen to their consumers and remove some ingredients from their products to ease the minds of worried parents, I was delighted to share the news! Johnson’s Baby told me that they always listens to moms, and although their products have always been safe, they took a stand and changed their formulas to give moms peace of mind.

Just as moms make promises to their children, JOHNSON’S® Baby also makes promises so moms don’t have to worry about the products they use on their little ones.

To share this commitment, they have created an inspiring story through the “Our Promise” video, which can be viewed on YouTube, as an open letter to moms showing their scientists and their families coming together to build an origami stork mobile, symbolizing the delivery of the promise to always listen to moms.

So tell us….

Are you worried about safe products? What promises have you made to your kids?
