I have always had a problem with my daughter and diaper rashes. I have tried everything possible but nothing ever seems to help. Or, if it does help, it doesn’t last very long.
Lately we have been using a big brand option, and every time I put it on she cries. It burns her bottom. 🙁 Plus I can always smell it on her when I lay her down at night. I can not stand it.
Monkey Balm is an organic diaper rash cream…. well, tube really. It goes on smoothly and there is no smell unless you put your nose right up to it (my second favorite part). It doesn’t burn her bottom when I put it on her either. Now when I put cream on my daughter’s bottom, she laughs. 🙂
The balm comes in a twist bottle and the lid twists on; which I love because my daughter can not open it and rub it everywhere.
I’m not the type to overuse it, and really I just use as necessary, but this is great to have on hand for when we do need it.
The balm goes on in an even coating, and I do not feel like I am wasting the majority of it!
Oh, and before I forget…..my daughter’s rash has been much better since we have started using this. Only a little red in the morning, but I use it every diaper change or potty break and the rash is practically gone! Love this stuff so far!!
ABOUT MONKEY BALM
After years of trying every over-the-counter and prescription cream under the sun to help my poor little Monkeys, I found out about Sea Buckthorn Oil. It’s used in many luxury Asian and European skin care products and natural skin treatments due to its unique power to heal damaged skin and protect it from the elements.
We (my husband and I) started experimenting with simple, effective methods to deliver this miraculous oil to the sensitive skin of our kids. After a few years of trial and error, we finally nailed it. Monkey Balm is the culmination of many different formulas and application methods. It’s the perfect combination of an effective, “no-stingy” formula, the main ingredient being sea buckthorn fruit and seed oils, and a simple, easy to use application “stick” that lasts longer than any cream or salve I have ever tried.
If you have a new mother, young child, or a baby shower to buy for; this would be a good gift to throw in a basket with a few other items to help mommy stock up!
When my daughter was younger her first Christmas wasn’t exciting since she was too little to understand. Everyone really just bought her clothes and a few toys, but this could be good for a stocking stuff for a little one since he/she won’t know any different. And it is something that a parent can actually use!
If you would like to try Monkey Balm, you can find it on their site here: Monkey Balm It retails for $15.95
