This was a trying week for me. I have been feeling a little down, and typically when I get that way I eat. Although I did manage to stay away from snacking for the most part, it has not been easy to stick to my program due to timing.
Over the course of just this week I have had one Lioness club meeting, which included a catered Thanksgiving dinner (who can pass that up right?), one catered Thanksgiving luncheon at my office, one event I attended that was completely food based — The Taste of Home Cooking Show (which means I was grazing all of the samples), and I ate out once.
That is a lot of stuff when you are trying to stick to a food program like Nutrisystem! It makes it really difficult to say the least.
I am happy to report that although I did have all this stuff going on, I never went for seconds (even though I wanted to a few times), and I tried to watch my portion sizes the best I could; although portion control during a holiday feast isn’t the easiest and I did take more than I probably should have.
Although all of this extra eating did derail me a little, I’m actually happy to report that I didn’t gain any weight! I didn’t lose any either, but I was very worried that all the weight I lost in week 1 was going to come rushing back on.
Starting Weight: 159 lbs
Weight loss this week: 0 lbs
Weight after week 2: 156 lbs
Total weight loss: 3 lbs
I am getting back on track as I move into week 3, and am hoping to lose at least a pound or two. I do feel a little like I am starting over after this last week, so wish me luck!
I hope you will continue with me on my journey, as I blog each week of my experiences and success with Nutrisystem Nation over the next four months! You can find all of my Nutrisystem stories as I journey through this program by visiting this link: Jesica’s Nutrisystem Journey
