If you know me, you know that I am trying to be more organized this year. This really started last fall when I started cleaning out the house and getting rid of the clutter, but now I really need to be more organized when it comes to day-to-day and everything that is going on in life.
When you work a full time job, a part time job, blog, and still have three kids who need you to spend time with them it can be a bit hectic. I need a way that I can stay organized even when on the go. Enter the the new Quilted Arc notebook from Staples (which essentially turns into a customizable organization system). I recently received one for review and thought it would be something nice to have, I didn’t realize how much I would actually love using it and what a great system it would be for me.
What do I like about the quilted arc notebook?
First, it is customizable. This means that I can choose to use it however I want instead of some predetermined method. I was given sticky tabs and dividers to use in mine. Both things actually work out really well for me. The dividers help me break the notebook up into sections so I can more easily keep track of things I want to remember, and the sticky notes are perfect for pointing out specific things I need to remember to do.
The one thing I might add is some of the calendar inserts just so I can have a calendar handy with me, but otherwise I love the setup I have so far.
Next, I love that the sheets are removable and repositionable. This way I can write freely and find that if something in my ‘ideas’ tab works better elsewhere I can move it. I also have a tab that I’m going to use to try to plan out weekly meals. If I change my mind about what meals I want that week – no problem, I can just move the sheet.
And of course I love the cover. It is a quilted patent leather which looks great. I was thinking this would also be a great gift for my kids’ teachers. I could use vinyl and add a name to the front cover to make it a personalized gift!
