Say Happy Birthday with Cake Batter Chapstick! #spons

Recently my son turned six years old and we have been celebrating in several ways. We took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, Buffalo Phil’s, and Knuckleheads (all in Wisconsin Dells); but Chapstick sent us a little gift to help us celebrate as well!

Sprinkles cupcakes, candles, streamers, hats, and cake batter flavored chapstick! Sounds great to me.  🙂

I had never actually had Sprinkles cupcakes before so I was really excited to try them, they were red velvet….one of my faves! I was also excited to try the Chapstick flavors and see how close they were to the real thing.

First thing first…the cupcakes of course!  I whipped up a batch from the mix, and made some cream cheese frosting to go with it. They were pretty good, but I have to say that they were even better the next day after they had been in the refrigerator over night.

The kids loved having a special treat too, and everyone was excited to watch the candles being blown out.

Velvet Cupcake and Cake Batter Chapstick

After trying the real thing, I figured I would give the Velvet Cupcake Chapstick a try. To my surprise, it was really close to an actual red velvet cupcake, and I really liked the flavor!

The Cake Batter flavor is my favorite though. Coming from someone who used to eat spoonfuls of cake batter out of the bowl when I was younger, this Chapstick is really good…aaahhh– memories.   😉

Okay, so I know you are dying to try these out for yourself. Give loved ones a guilt-free way to have their cake with ChapStick® cake-inspired flavors. Featuring a convenient gift tag on the back of each package, ChapStick® takes the hassle out of gift wrapping, making it easy to attach on top of a gift or give as a thoughtful gesture for friends, teachers, co-workers or family.

Hurry, they are limited edition and only available until March 31st!  Check out more at the Chapstick website, or on their Facebook page!

The ChapStick® product, information and gift have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare

Now that's fun! I've seen fruit flavored, but never cake batter! I'm guilty too! I love licking the bowl when I make a cake!! Reply

I wonder if my daughter would go for cupcakes instead of a cake for her birthday, I guess I'll have to ask her. Reply

We've done cupcakes quite often. A lot of the time we get those cupcakes that are frosted to look like a cake on top, but then each person gets their own cupcake. It works out really well! These were homemade of course, so I wasn't that fancy. :-) Reply
