Do you ever get really hungry about the middle of the afternoon? That is when my snack cravings hit, and previously I would just reach for a bag of chips, or some sugary candy bar to try to get my fill. I know that is not the best way to snack, but those items are tasty!

Now that I am on the Nutrisystem program, I really want to find ways to snack better. All of that sugar really isn’t doing much for my body, and it is adding on way too many pounds!

Recently, I had a chance to try out Nibbles, a company that delivers select snack foods to help you make healthy snacking a part of your lifestyle.

Our Mission: Nibbles offers only the healthiest snack choices for you in our fully-customizable box. We know how hard it is to juggle your commitments at work and home, and worry about what you snack on throughout your busy day. Our goal is to provide you with a quick, convenient way to “pack up” your snack box online, and get it delivered to you as quickly as possible so you can snack on only the best foods.

I was sent a box of four different snack selections. Each snack was picked by the Nibbles team, which usually you get to pick your own so you can eat what you like, but I was sent a sample box to try out.

They even sent along a fun little letter that included what each of the items were. The letter was personally addressed to me, which I thought was a nice touch!

Out of the four items I got, I was immediately drawn to the bananas. I ate them all for my snack that day (probably should have eaten half one day and half another day, but they tasted pretty good).

I am not much of a wasabi fan (I hate spicy foods), and although these were not that spicy, they were just not for me. I sent them to work with my husband and told him to share with his co-workers.

The apricot blossom and apple pecan pie were both good, and I think a mix of nuts with fruit is a good idea, but my husband and I have been busy drying our own fruit with our new dehydrator. Our apples seemed to be a little tastier than these (but that is just personal preference, plus all the hard work of making them ourselves).

Overall, the concept of this snack delivery idea is a good one. Get people better snacks to curb their hunger and reduce sugar cravings. You can get four snacks in a box for $17.25 plus free shipping. This is ideal for those who don’t have a great deal of time to hunt down snacks that are better for you, because they can be delivered right to your door!

Find Nibbles here: Nibbles, and pick out which snacks you would add to your box!  Next time I would pick the berry boost for sure!
