I hate shopping for bras. I hate trying to figure out what size I might be, hate trying them on and not sure if they really are the best for support, and usually end up hating how they fit after a while (either lack of support, or just an improper fit).

When I was asked to try out the new JOCKEY bra, at first I wasn’t sure if it would really work out well for me, I mean how can I get the perfect fitting bra by measuring at home? Then I learned about the Fit Kit, which is the first and only system that measures breast volume. The system is really simple to use, and is honestly hard to get wrong.

The Fit Kit includes 10 volumetric fit cups, a color-coded measuring tape that uses Jockey’s sizing, easy to follow instructions, a protective lingerie wash bag, and $20 off your first bra!

Getting a fit that’s the closest thing to custom

Ordering the kit is the first step. Simply head over to JOCKEY bra and click on Fit Kit.

Simply order your kit and expect your Fit Kit to ship out asap. Once you get your kit, you need to try out the cups to see which is the best fit for you. Instructions come with the kit, or you can head back to the JOCKEY bra website to see instructions in a little more detail.

I found trying the kit to be very easy. You can pretty much estimate which cup is close to your size, and from there you just try on a few that are similar in size to see which one really gives you the best fit without causing any spillage or leaving too much room.

Ordering a JOCKEY bra

Choosing which bra to order was actually the hardest part for me. I am a full chested gal, and although I want a bra that isn’t so padded that it just adds to my size, I also don’t want something paper thin that offers very little support. The five bras on the JOCKEY bra site all seem like they would offer great support, I just wasn’t sure which would be the best from me based on the descriptions. I think this is one area Jockey could improve, the descriptions just aren’t really the best for making your decision easy.

In the end, I just decided to go with the classic contour bra.  Once you decide which bra you want, you just click on buy and input your size selections. I ordered mine and it was shipped the same day I ordered it! Plus, if you set up an account when you ordered your Fit Kit, your $20 credit should automatically apply to your bra purchase.

The JOCKEY bra first impressions

I received my JOCKEY bra a few days after ordering, and my first impressions were that the material was really soft, and the bra seemed well made. I have been wearing it for a couple of days and so far so good. Most days it honestly feels like I’m wearing nothing at all (except my hooha’s aren’t dragging on the floor like they would be if I really were wearing nothing  :-)). I will have to try it out for a little longer to really be able give you an opinion, but at first try, I really like this bra!

So tell us….

What is the best and worst thing about finding bras for you?  Have you ever really had a custom fit bra that you loved?
