Our Thoughts on Turbo
Personally, Turbo isn’t really my kind of movie, but I knew my six year old son would love it so I figured it would be a great movie for him to watch and tell me his thoughts. My son did end up loving this movie, and after it was over I asked him what his favorite part was. He was so excited that he found it hard to pick one thing, but he said that he loved torward the end when Turbo lost his speed and his shell got cracked, but he did end up getting his speed back. He said it was really exciting to watch that part because it was the big race!
As far for me, I thought the movie started out a bit slow and the story line wasn’t something I was interested in (it was about racing after all — not my thing), but my son was glued to the screen the whole time and could be heard laughing throughout the movie. He really liked it, and will probably be asking to watch it over and over.
Does this movie have the kid appeal: Yes. If your kids are looking for a great movie, then Turbo may be a good choice. If you are looking for whole family appeal, I cannot really say as it isn’t my kind of movie, but your family may love it!
