The event takes place from April 12 at 11 PM EST and ends on April 22 at 11.59 PM EST
For this event, I had the opportunity to try out an ECOlunchwrap, snacksack and SoloCube from ECOlunchboxes. ECOlunchboxes has also been kind enough to provide the same items to one lucky winner!
The Solo Cube is a stainless steal lunch box that is plastic-free, lead-free, BPA-free, phthalate-free and even waste-free. The container measures 5 1/4 inches square and 1 7/8 inches deep. It is unbreakable and dishwasher safe. This little box is the perfect size to fit a sandwich, and is sturdy so you know the sandwich won’t get smashed, which I hate.
The ECOsnacksack, inspired by traditional furoshiki eco bags from Japan, is a chic and versatile lunch solution. Plastic-free, BPA-free and waste-free, furoshiki (pronounced f-ROHSH-kee) snack sacks are yummy & yuck-free for people of all ages. It is fully lined and machine washable. The cotton fursoshiki wrap for children and adults is sewn from colorful fair trade textiles hand printed by artisans using wooden blocks and wax batik techniques perfected over generations.
If you can tie two knots, you can transform the Furoshiki ECOlunchwrap into a stylish lunchbag! Double-sided and machine washable, the cotton furoshiki wrap is sewn from colorful fair trade textiles hand printed by artisans using wooden blocks and wax batik techniques perfected over generations. Whether you are packing food at home, picking up take-out or just need a versatile bag, this wrap makes it easy to say goodbye to plastic bags, vinyl totes and other leachy food containers.
Although I’ve only had my ECOlunchbox items for two days, I can already see how useful and versatile these are! The snacksack is the perfect size to just throw in an apple or banana on the go, or maybe even a few handfuls of nuts. Since it is machine washable, I’m not worried about it getting a little dirty here and there. I really like the size of the SoloCube as I can perfectly fit a sandwich without worrying about it being smashed or getting liquid on it from other items. The only thing I have left to do is figure out a way to personalize this box. I’m open to suggestions (please help me!!!). I was thinking perhaps a decoupage of some kind of design on the box, but I’m not sure what or how to go about it. If you have ideas I really could use them, comment below and let me know what to do!
