Wish I had known to do this back in my college days!

School starts soon, are you ready?!

Is your pocket book?!

Don’t worry, Dollar Tree is here! Where EVERYTHING is a Dollar, all day everyday!

Lets face it, a quality education isn’t free and college isn’t cheap.

We took a trip to the Dollar Tree in search of how to properly deck out a new dorm room, and ensure that our future leaders of tomorrow can be equipped with everything they may need on a budget.

Check out what we found!

20140810_154142Fill this caddy up with shower gels, shampoos, toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorants to make your handy DAILY (please daily) trips to the shower convenient and easy.

Don’t forget the flip flops for the shower….If you don’t know why, ask your mother.

“Change your mind, and change it again, because nothing’s permanent. So, make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask what we want to be, we won’t have to guess… we’ll know. “- Twilight

So…. be proud of your mistakes! Unless it is on your homework… then erase.

Boys, keep your rooms fresh — the girls will notice…..

and appreciate 🙂

Also, remember mom is not around to clean up after you, so stock up on the cleaning supplies…. and use them!

Plus, with mom no longer around to cook you meals you can find some some handy, easy to create dinners.

And when mom comes to visit, (or that hot date you finally scored) she will be super impressed by your fancy dinnerware!

Don’t forget the snacks, for the late nights, early mornings and everything in between!

Not feeling well? Dollar tree has what you need there too 🙂

Did you know that 80% of your brain is water? Stay Hydrated!

Have we got you covered? If not….

Check out Dollar Tree for additional products shipped right to your door!

Dollar Tree isn’t just for school supplies either, we always find great personal care products, gift wrap, party supplies, and more to help us live large on a budget!

Thank you to Dollar Tree for sponsoring this post, all suggestions and opinions are our own.

Who am I? Is it weird that the first thing that comes to my mind is Happy? No, I don’t believe I am one of the Seven Dwarfs, although happy is better than being Sneezy! After having my two children Kaphen (5), and Kyler (3), I lost myself somewhere between the diapers, parenting, and up all-nighters. Now that they are a little older, I have sorted out how to be a mom, a wife and ME! So who is “me”? .....

Yes, we have a dollar tree store pretty close to us. Whenever I get extra money, I take the kids down there for a treat and let them fill up the cart with whatever! It is so fun! They have so many cool things! Reply

My husband has a kit bag for bringing his stuff to and from the shower when on course. Comes in handy and so much easier then having nothing to carry it all and forgetting things. Reply

My high school graduation present from my parents was a huge box of things like Q-tips, Advil, detergent, etc. I thought it was completely random, but that stuff adds up if you don't find good deals like at the Dollar Tree. Reply

This certainly brings me back to my college days! So many things to buy. So much money to spend! This would have been great. We only had one big box store where I went and it was crazy move in weekend! Reply

I have used some of those plastic totes to plant flowers in. I just punched some holes in the bottom, and lined with muslin fabric, added potting soil. They are really cute on my porch. Reply

I didn't realize that Dollar Tree had such a variety of products. I know they have great containers and I need to head there to get more for my classroom. Reply
