I love getting packages delivered right to my door. I also know that receiving a package means that someone is hard at work somewhere. Whether it be packing it up, shipping it off, or delivering my package no matter the weather, I am very grateful for the hard working women and men who deliver special holiday wishes during this busy season and beyond.
This season, UPS wants to share these magical stories and also make it more special with your help!
Wishes Delivered!
For every wish submitted with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100K!
Wishes can automatically be submitted to the #WishesDelivered site by simply posting the wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, or going direct to the #WishesDelivered site and submitting there.
Here is my wish for this year, feel free to join in the fun by submitting your own wish and sharing it with us in the comments!
My wish is for my sister to have a bigger apartment or home for her and her two kids, two bedrooms is not enough for all – #WishesDelivered
— The Mommy Bunch (@themommybunch) December 19, 2014
I chose this wish for my sister because she has been doing an awesome job trying to raise two kids as a single mom, but with a nine year old daughter and a one year old son they have simply outgrown their two bedroom apartment and really need more room! I hope she finds something soon. 🙂
Submit your wishes
Be sure to submit your own wishes for someone else this year and keep the holiday cheer going! By doing so you are not only sharing in the holiday spirit, but you are also raising money for charity!
Make sure to let us know, What’s Your Wish?
Here are some simple reminders for when you submit:
- Your wish should be for someone else.
- Make the wish meaningful. What could someone really use (not what they want, but what they need)?
- Use the #WishesDelivered hashtag to ensure your submission is counted and a donation to charity is made.
- Come on back and share your wish with us here in the comments – we want to see it too!
So tell us…
Who would you make a wish for – what is your #WishesDelivered wish?
