I have always been the type of person who uses liquid soap over bar soap, but my kids seem to think the bottle is just a never ending squeeze toy.
When I got the option to try Yardley London Bath Bars for review, I thought this will be the perfect chance to try something new and make our soap last a little longer. When the bath bars came the package smelled so delicious! I could not wait to try these because they just smelled so good.
Of course I was a little leery; I mean I’ve tried bar soap one time before and it left my skin feeling dry. I hated that feeling I got after using the bar soap because I like my skin to feel silky smooth. I was actually amazed at the Yardley bars though. My skin felt like it usually did, soft. I did not feel dried out at all.
The first one I tried was the Honey Vanilla Cream. I think this one is my favorite of those I tried because the smell is not strong, and it just made me feel relaxed. I use a sponge and the lather I built up on my sponge did not run off, where I would have to keep lathering it up. I really liked that because I wasn’t wasting soap just on building up lather.
The second one worked just the same, but the smell was a bit stronger. The scent was Sugar Plum Blossom, and although the scent was pleasing, I did prefer the Honey Vanilla Cream (just a personal preference). The scent on this one is more of a floral smell. I used this one in the morning, and it made me feel energized and ready to start my day!
